I add an IES light and tried to connect an IES file and it crashed. For the other data I just added a scatter to the scene and it crashed. I am seeing this with the test lighting final from the manual.

I've got problems with the Denoise function in PR7 (see bug report viewtopic.php?f=86&t=76579). Can anyone else with a 2019 Mac Pro replicate these issues? Or is it just me? I'm running dual RX5700XTs.
Yes confirmed, there is an issue with AI Denoiser and PR7 on Big Sur 11.1:

I am seeing an issue when adding a metallic texture to a Universal material. The viewport displays artifacts on the model, or loses shading information entirely.
It should be easy to repeat:
- Add a Cube primitive
- Assign a metallic texture to it.
This is using PR7 Studio on an M1 Mac, with the 11.1 update to Big Sur.

Hey there, I'd love to help make Octane X better on MacBooks and iMac Pro.
Who do I need to talk to for the following two feature requests for Mac node editor:
- proper pan / zoom gesture support for trackpad in Node Editor
- using backspace key to delete a node instead of FN + Backspace
Thank you!!

Sorry I got caught up playing with the thing. Is it too late to generate the log for you.aoktar wrote:Pls use "generate log report" and send the file to meJedi_blade wrote:I am using Octane X PR 7 Enterprise Stable. but I still have weird crashes often. I just had another crash so I attached a new log. So I was just playing around with material settings and it crashed. This is the first one since my original comment though. Hope that helps.aoktar wrote:Pls use "generate log report" and send the file to meJedi_blade wrote:I am using Octane X PR 7 Enterprise Stable. but I still have weird crashes often. Is that normal.
