VitaliyHavrylyuk wrote:Hi,

Is there any information on how to get the "old" tonemapped feature?
For example, right now I'm trying to render a z-depth pass with a VDB, in the old system when I changed the tonemap type to Tonemapped the VDBs would become visible in the zdepth pass. I can't seem to find a similar option in this pre-release.

Thanks! :D
HDR+sRGB=tonemapped
HDR+Linear sRGB=linear

Thanks for the quick reply Oaktar. I have my buffer type set to HDR and color space to sRGB, but my vdb/volumes are still not visible on the z-depth pass. Am I missing something or is this a potential bug?

Thanks again :D

They will not be seen on z-depth. Have special passes for these. See picture.

I'm aware of the Volume z-depth passes, but they always seem to create very rough edges close to the alpha edges (see example below). This is not a product of low samples either.
Is there a known solution to this?

Hi all,
updated the builds as out of a preview release. Still be careful, it's not a stable product yet.

Just to confirm: You are one RC behind Stand alone right? C4D RC5 vs SA RC6.

yes, an update for RC6 seems not a big task. But I wish to make some revisions/fixes before an RC6 build.

I've been playing around with the AOV system with light mixing, and I just want to give a huge THANK YOU for this. I've envied Corona for light mixing for a long time now, especially when working with exteriors/interiors.

Aoktar, in the future, could there be anyway to automate the setting up of light mixing? Perhaps, a button that automatically gives all lights their own ID and automates the layering part of this process?
