Why is it so much trouble installing Octane, I had an older version, didn´t like the installation and licensing process, takes to many steps and time to get going.
Now, I can´t activate it through the command prompt in the license server, it says install by the Otoy account, ok..so the only thing I could do there is to unlock it, I did.
going back and restarting licens server says it still isn´t activated and needs to be activated through the Otoy account.
I can find the octane addon in preferences ( which should be activated by default during installation really)
and I can choose it as the render engine, but it just stands waiting for image to render..which most likely is due to it not being activated.
Why isn´t this working directly..do we have to wait hours, a day or so before it is processed?

it´s been 10 days since I posted the questions and I can´t still activtivate the license and try octane out.
Would have been good since I have time to try octane out during christmas, which I may not have that much of after that.
