Blender Octane doesn't update mesh when rendering animation

I've got a mesh animated with an armature. Whenever I render one frame everything is fine but when I render the whole animation the armature seems stuck on the pose it started rendering in. Interestingly I've also parented an object to a triangle on the mesh and this object is rendered where the mesh is supposed to be.

Are there any settings in Octane for Blender that could explain this problem? I've tried all sorts of things but it doesn't seem to matter.

The link below shows frame 25 and 32. The mesh is supposed to have moved but only the light ring on the visor seems to have moved to the right location where the mesh is supposed to be.

Is there a reason these options would be greyed out? I can't select moveable or global etc. Well I can but it's just greyed out so I assume it doesn't do anything. My armature animation isn't rendering at all, it's just stuck on the first frame like OP.

In the object properties change the object type to "reshapable proxy"

This option is now in Object Properties, it has an icon of a yellow square in a menu.
Changing the object type to Reshapable Proxi also solved the problem for me — I had a boolean reveal animation that did not show up in renders.
I am using Blender 2.91.2

Im having the same issue but movable and reshape able proxy are not fixing it. My armature is a animated fbx file imported into blender. Please help

EDIT: Turns out that you have to have adaptive sampling turned off or else the models wont update even if it is on reshape or movable proxy
