I've been away from Octane for a few years. In fact I'm calling from the distant past, aka Octane 1.55. It is sufficient for my needs.

At least, it was sufficient. I dusted off Octane and tried to render something last night and it said my GPU had no CUDA cores. It's a GTX1060 6GB.

This morning I downloaded the Octane demo and that recognised my GPU, so what has gone wrong? I downloaded all the latest drivers yesterday, my GPU is recognised by other software and works fine. I doubt that anyone has gone back to v1.55 and made changes to it! My account is active. Suggestions on how to get Octane running again please?
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, i5-4670K @ 3.4Ghz, 32GB RAM, GTX1060 (6GB).

The issue is in recent Nvidia driver and Win 10 version, you should need to go back to a very old version, like 417.71, that in general is no more installable in updated Win 10 machines.

Since you don't have more than 2x GPUs and you're not interested in Net rendering, you could buy an annual Studio subscription for € 199 or pay € 19.99 monthy:

This is the less expensive solution you have to work with recent Nvidia driver, and recent Octane versions.
