Huh...no ones crying. Have you ready what I wrote big man? Im not complaining thats its not ready, its just a question, the reply was more about not even being able to ask when things might be ready. READ the post...ArturM wrote:Man stop crying like a baby. I would love to dive into new features with Octane as well, but it obviously takes time to prepare everything.mattking wrote:Impatient....?! Obviously because pretty much every user of Octane and C4d will want to use the most recent features in R23...and wont be able to until Octane is ready for R23...
I'm sure your ,,projects'' can wait and they are not depending on the new Scene Nodes etc.

Maybe someone is using one of the other features, Toon Rig. Anyways, I don't think it is unreasonable to ask. I am not sure why that bothers you.ArturM wrote:Man stop crying like a baby. Okay, thanks a lot, and thanks even more for your work with Octane Plugin !
So, no more v4 for R23?! That's really sad, man. I am a user of Octane since its beta, there were different times, different difficulties - we discussed problems and their solutions, now you are discontinuing support for R4 ... This is bad news for me, since for me personally OCTANE updates are not critical I could continue to use the version of R4 but you deprive me of this opportunity
No more 23,24,25,... with V4. We have a lot of old versions(3,4,2018,2019,2020) surely and cannot keep them updated while trying to develop new versions. There are several technical and non-practical reasons for that. It's practically impossible, I cannot spend my sources to fix/keep old versions that can work for the next C4D versions. Also, there are compatibility issues that come with every new upgrade that makes old software cannot work with new hardware/software.Oleg wrote:So, no more v4 for R23?! That's really sad, man.
