AMD Radeon Pro W5700X is a 5XXX Navi GPU, already supported in both Catalina and Big Sur (it is the same for Vega GPUs).

On the other side, if you have a 580, so 5XX model, it is a Polaris GPUs, and you need latest Big Sur Apple Metal driver to be able to work with OctaneX.

Hello, I'm using AMD Radeon Pro 580 with my iMac 2017 on Big Sur(11.0.1).
Do I also need to upgrade the driver? I'm a little confused with Pro 580 & RX 580.

AMD 560X is a Polaris GPU, so it is supported by Apple Metal driver included in Mac Os 11.0.1 Big Sur:

Personally I have an AMD Radeon Pro 575, and it is working as expected under Big Sur.

It stil lsays "No render GPUs" under the render viewport
Am I missing something? Apologies!
