Standalone preview not showing

Hi all

Ive just started to look at more depth at the Standalone octane app. Ive been using octane now for just under a year but with C4D and recently updated plugin to 456.71 (studio driver) as when i updated the pluin for C4D the preview under old driver wouldn't work, It now does with new driver.

I can open files up ok in the standalone and everything seems to be there but I cant see any preview so not sure if im doing something wrong or if i need to get a different driver? I'm attaching screen shots to show what I'm seeing.

Thank you all for any help on this.

Can you explain the solution? I'm new to Octane and having the same issue. Since I'm new, I have no idea if I'm overlooking something or if it's a bug.

Hi klc3d

All i did in the end was add a render target node after looking at example files. That seems to activate the preview window into working. Was nothing to do with drivers etc. Hope that helps you.
