Hi, developers
Since I upgraded to the latest Nvidia Studio driver 456.38, Octane 2020.1.5 started giving errors wich calls out the log window and closes Cinema 4D. So far erros are rtiggerd by different actions like: sliding "MAX tile Samples", sliding "parallel samples", opening the node editor or draging nodes.
PS.: Sorry I posted this bug here, but since I upgraded the driver due the release of 2020.2 XB3, I thought it was also important to report it here.

Have you found similar issues with standalone builds or is this limited to the Cinema4D plugin?
Are there any specific steps or local preference settings you can tell us that can help reproducing the issue? If it happens with specific scenes a repro case would also be helpful.
I usually don't use Standalone. I will have a try. I report to you later.mojave wrote:Hi and thanks for reporting.Kalua wrote:Hi, developers

This is expected if your material from 2020.1 has 0 roughness and 1.0 ior and is purely specular.Kai_Liu wrote:Well, I feel like driving a lambo right now. I just upgrated my old GTX titan x to the new epic 3090.
Just some minor problems like some of my layered materials (from 2020.1) become null when loaded into XB3.0. But a quick copy and paste solved it.
Keep up the great work guys.
Is this the case with your old material?
@Kalua: since it is related to 2020.1.5, I’m following you in the c4doctane discussion:
