Hi Paride,
how can i make guides not to render? Because now guides and hair are rendered at the same time
we use ornatrix 6

I just talked to Ornatrix hair plug in team. Basically they tried to email otoy a couple of times to support new SDK for ornatrix 6+
Octane renders hair guides in version 6 and 7 and 5 works fine (Guides should not render only hair should). The reason is due to new SDK in ver 6 and 7
Can they please look into it?

Ornatrix latest sdk V6+ has been supported from 4.05-6.20 / 2018.1.3-7.07 / 2019.1-8.01 / 2020.1-10.00
There has been improvements and fixes since then, and recently, you can check the Ornatrix version in the Support tab of the Render settings.
The hair guides are rendered only if some of the other ornatrix are disabled, no other modifier exist.
In fact, from Octane renderer point of view, I get the guides as hair;
So, it's not rendering both hair and guides, it's just rendering what's available from the top of the modifier's stack..
Note that in order to render with the state for renderer and not for viewport, you need to set 'Notify objects on render' to 'Per object' in Render settings, and enable 'Use Render mode' in Octane object properties.
(eg: the Ox Hair from guides has View. Count, that sets the hair count for viewport mode..)
