Instability with AI Denoiser
Moderators: ChrisHekman, aoktar
Anyone here have some serious instability issues while using AI Denoiser when rendering to Picture Viewer or in the Render Que? It works fine when I in the Live Viewer, but crashes Octane Constantly and either causes my computer to restart or just freezes Octane on a frame. I've tried disabling AI Denoiser and using C4D Intel Denoiser, and things seem to remain stable and render as expected. I don't think it's a VRAM issues because 1. The scene I'm working on isn't that heavy, and 2. it works fine while I'm in the Live Viewer.

Is gpu headrrom and out of core settings are enough? And also - check render subdivisions in each subd surface generator you you in the scene. It helped me once.
It is always better to use same iterations for both editor and rendering. Default setting is 2 for editor, 3 for rendering

I'm not going OOC. Subd is also consistent in editor and renderer. Like I said, everything works perfect when I'm working and previewing in LV but then I have instability issues when rendering to PV or using render que. When turn of AI Denoiser, things become fairly stable again.silkyre6xtenz wrote:Is gpu headrrom and out of core settings are enough?
