I have many cars in my signature I modelled and rendered in lightwave that I want to render in octane. Just won't do it now since I heard 2.2 scenes will not be compatible with newer octane builds.
The things you have to keep in mind for the lw plugin is that you can only have one layer for now. Not sure if holocube will be able to combine layout layers and export to one obj file for octane. Because in blender its possible to export multiple objects layers into one obj file. So the trick is to use bones and objects with weightmaps to animate these parts.![]()
But this is one object with parts. Lets hope holocube can make it work with multiple object layers in layout.
