Sorry, but I can't reproduce these problems here. Can you please share your scene and the steps to try to reproduce this problem here?

Also, can you please double-check that you have the right plugin installed for LW2020 and if you have two plugins loaded at the same time. In the "About" window you can check the installed plugin.

Thanks,

Hi Juanjgon. I use the plugin for LW 2020, i.e. the latest modification of Octane 2019, which I downloaded today. I worked with this scene, which can be downloaded from the link below. I just selected all the objects and used the “Material Conversion” command - the LW 2020 crashes right away.

Yep, you are right. It seems that there is a problem with the LW2020 SDK and this feature that I had missed. I'll investigate it ASAP.

Thanks,

1. When will it be possible for us to have a conversion to Universal Material within the Material Converter?

2. How do I convert transparent materials?

3. How do I convert metal materials?

Thanks.

I'll try to update the material conversion to support more features at some point, although in any case it is going to work from the LW standard material node only.

Thanks,
-Juanjo
