Hi, I'm having some issues for a while now getting motion blur to work.
I'm running the latest version of Octane's subscription plug-in.
I have a scene setup of a motion object and my camera following the object (object is also animating so still enough movement)
I have an Octane Camera Tag applied to my camera and it's enabled so I'm seeing through the camera.
I also have an object tag on my object, just in case
and set my motion blur high enough in my camera tag settings (it's also enabled)
Yet I'm not seeing any motion blur in my octane direct viewport, even after resending the scene and I also don't get any motion blur when I render out the animation.
I've checked a lot of motion blur tutorials for Octane and there they immediately see the motion blur when enabled in the opposite of my problem.
Motion Blur not working and I KNOW what I'm doing.. ;/

And while we are here.. Another issue I'm having is that octane show my object differently than it actually is in the viewport:
frame 141 in render: https://prnt.sc/u70ty7
frame 141 in viewport: https://prnt.sc/u70ul6
you can see the wing is not in the same location..

Hello Ignace, sorry to see you are having some difficulties. Regarding the positional offset, I would need to look at your scene, but it is likely something to do with the priority of your deformer and the method that you have attached the wing to the body. Feel free to file a ticket at -- help at otoy dot com -- and we can take a look.
I would suggest the same for your motion blur issue.

The thing is that I have motion blur in any scene. So whatever scene I setup I don't get the motion blur.
I have a camera with the octane tag and motion blur enabled and a moving object with an object tag. Yet no motion blur

No effect if you use object tag on camera. What's camera type and plugin version?IgnaceAleya wrote:The thing is that I have motion blur in any scene. So whatever scene I setup I don't get the motion blur.
