Yes, I dream of the day of not having to use several different plugins to achieve these effects and then having to figure out how to get them to render properly with Octane.Goldorak wrote:LiquiGenFX is coming, and cloth is on the radar!Elvissuperstar007 wrote:WindClothGenFX ))

To me the largest wish-item with this is dynamic mesh integration.
Would be so nice to have moving animations interacting with the fire fluid sim.
You wouldn't even need materials, just a low poly approximation would be good enough.

I have been trying for days to get anything Embergen exported to render properly in Octane.
I must have tried every parameter in the export and import settings there is, but i cannot get anything even remotely looking like what i see in Embergen.
This is a far as I can get:
I am using Octane stand-alone, but all tutorials currently seem to use C4d plugin to import the openvdb volumes and apparently something magic is happening there.
I also tried the already exported Openvdb samples from jangafx with the same results. I have no problems with other openvdb volumes.
Can anyone share a orbx from standalone where embergen volumes render ok?

EmbergenFX is a cool addition to Otoys Octane.
I have been on Octane since Refractive and love it, actually i recently started looking at cycles only because of the new smoke sim, but then EmbergenFX arrived.
Only problem I have is how to set my shaders correct (Blender Octane)
Alembic will be a cool feature

Not yet, but like Octane X, we plan to port it to Metal, most likely after we have done a first round of integration into Octane/Brigade.studio-a wrote:Hi, Is there a Mac version ? of EmberGenFX ?
