Hmm, this is really weird. Here your scene can be rendered without problems. Are you sure that you have the right cache files for all the frames?

Thanks,

Yep but I've found something if I deactivate motion blur it renders on disk, it's weird indeed

Yes, it is weird. Here it works fine in any case, although in your scene you don't have the deformations motion blur enabled. The objects has the "v" velocity attribute, so the MB should not be a problem.

Do you have this problem in any frame?

Thanks,

Hmm, the filecache fails for the first frame, not sure why. Perhaps this is the problem, if the object is not available in the first frame it can't be updated so it is missing in all the other frames. Have you tried to start the rendering to disk from the frame 2?

Thanks,
-Juanjo

I'm not sure why this happens, but in any case this is an issue on the Houdini side. Here using your scene there is no object in the frame 1, reporting the filecache SOP the error that you can see in the attached image. If you were rendering the scene if "full scene reload" mode, this could not be a problem, but in update mode, if the object is not available in the first frame, it can't be updated.

Thanks,
-Juanjo
