Hey everyone,
I'm hoping someone can enlighten me on whether or not im experiencing out of the normal behavior when it comes to texture projection.
In the C4D viewport my texture projection doesnt line up with what i see in the octane viewer. Is this normal?
The viewport on the left is the C4D Viewport and the one on the right is Octane Live Viwer.

Can anyone confirm that this is normal behavior? I dont know why octane and the C4D viewers wouldnt show the same texture position on geometry but clearly in my screenshot, its different.
It can only display correct if you use uvmapping in projection node. Why do not share a scene to get quick answer? Estimating is very hard from pictures.

So the only time the UVs will appear the same in the viewport and in live viewer is if i use UV as the mapping method?
What if i use BOX or some other method in octanes projection mode, that wont appear consistent in both viewers? Doesnt this seem like a bug? I would expect to be able to reference any viewer and have the scene accurately represented.

It's not a bug because there is not any way to provide this. Enjoy it!
