Hi there,
i just installed Octan, Cuda and xQuartz...
So the Software is running. I tried to import the octaneaxis.obj file which is in the Download section.
And the there it hangs, after that disaster i tried just to put in a material...now i can see the material ball. But it works so slowly that's just impossible to me.
Is this normal?!

The 9600M GT is technically CUDA enabled and therefore supported, but it is very slow to work with.

So the solution/requirement for Octane would be?!
A MacPro (better GPU) or a Windows machine?!

The solution would be a mac pro running with a newer gtx card under windows/bootcamp or a pc with a (or several) fast nvida consumer card(s).
