Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone could please help me out.
I'm looking to send a project to another computer. The project contains animated textures as image sequences. I went to use the 'save project with assets' option in cinema 4d, however because the images are inside octane shaders, it wouldn't include it in the new save file folder. Does anyone know a way around this?
Would appreciate any help.
Thanks!
Save project with assets + Animated textures

With Octane materials and tags, you should use the similar option in the menu of the Octane Live Viewer panel : File > Save C4D scene with assets...
EDIT: i've tested my solution but it doesn't work as it should with animated textures. For another kind of textures, it works fine.

Hey Atome,
thanks very much for getting back to me with that. I gave it a go, and it saves the scene, however it still does not take the animated image sequences into account, and I just get still images.
If you have any further ideas please let me know!
Thanks for you help

Yep, that would be sweet. Just ran into the same problem.
It should work fine. Report it with a sample scene. Also this is a topic from 2015stikidiky wrote:2020 having the same problem, any solution? I'm trying to upload it to Ranchcomputing (render farm) and it is failing collecting the texture sequence every time

Yes, please report it. Texture collecting should be very robust.
