Okay, just seeing how much time this can save me. I tweaked one of their presets, exported the vdb and imported into C4D using Octane's VDB loader. Whole process took about an hour or so with render at 128 samples.
Not knowing what I'm doing gave me this. (**it's a bad composite, but just wanted to test the workflow.)
For me this product is gamechanger. Mainly because of its integration with Octane. Epecially when it becomes part of the C4D plugin. Makes both products invaluable when used together.
Nice work, OTOY!
NEW: EmberGenFX public beta begins now!

Thank you! We are also integrating Scrulptron as an integrated module when it gets out of alpha, you can check out the new standalone version that dropped same day as EmberGenFX here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=73665BCres wrote:Okay, just seeing how much time this can save me. Make sure you on the 2020 Octane Studio sub (with all access to all dcc + services like rndr.otoy.com). If not, cancel the old sub and get the newer one. If all else fails, please ping [email protected] to sort out.rezaansari wrote:+1 not licensed
Hi,
I'm a little bit confused with license system.
If I Upgrade my legacy V4 perpetual licenses to 2020.x perpetual licenses (upgrade to OctaneRender Entreprise + 1 year annual maintenance --> 499.00 €), will I have access to all DCC plugins and to a full commercial license of EmberGenFX standalone at no extra cost ?
Thanks for your help...
Chris.

Will do! Just to be able to tweak these effects and get realtime feedback is phenomenal. I'll check out Sculptron later today. Thank you again.Goldorak wrote:Thank you!
