Hi everybody,
I'm concerned that Octane isn't using my graphics cards' VRAM properly because in the Live Viewer's display window, the GPU statistics are showing only a fraction of the VRAM my cards have.
I am using (2) cards. A 2070 Super with 8GB, and a smaller GTX with 4GB.
Octane recognizes both of them, but for the VRAM statistics, it is only displaying the amount of VRAM that my smaller GTX card has. It should be displaying 12GB total, since that's the reality of my build.
Could you please shed some light on this? Is Octane actually utiziling all 12GB of my VRAM, or is an error occurring?
Thanks in advance if you reply!
Neil

VRAM Incorrect Display in Live Viewer, or Error?

Hi,
the scene must be completely loaded in each GPU, so VRAM is not summed, and the GPU with less VRAM defines the limit of ther system.
ciao Beppe

yes, but if under Win 10, the system takes ~19% of VRAM from every GPU:

Even if, it seems that there are some hopes:
