Hi,
we have a PC on UBUNT ... formerly 18.04 LST, now 20.04 LST, Octane 4.05. Starting Octane Slave Deaemon is added to Startup Applications

Code: Select all

gnome-terminal -e "/home/user/Install/Octane/OctaneRender_4_05_linux/run_octane_daemon.sh"
After the initial installation, everything ran fine. But now, after about a month of operation, it regularly happens that no authentication takes place when the Slave Daemon's PC is fully switched on. It will remain hanging on the account login

Code: Select all

Enter your OTOY username or email address :
When I enter my login details, everything goes well.
When the system restarts, it is able to re-authorize automatically. But when the PC is completely turned off and on again, it requires authorization.
Don't know what could cause it? I want to start Daemon automated and 100% functional - the PC is not a workstation, it is controlled via a VNC server. Constant entry of login details is so inconvenient.

Is it possible to add authorization parameters to the SH script? Like it is needed in FSTAB when mounting network folders.
