Hello everyone,
i have a question regarding rendering in general. I want my final renders in 1920x1080 resolution. I was wondering if there is a benefit to rendering them in a higher resolution, say 1440p or 2k and then downsize them or is it better to render them in 1080p with enough samples. I am not particularly worried about noise, i am more interested in the amount details in the images.
Would a native 1080p render have the same amount of detail then a 1440p or 2k render i downsized to 1080p? Is there a consensus or best practice when it comes to render resolutions.
