Yup, I've had a few 'death crashes' where the pc just shuts off instantly.
Normally when moving something in the viewport and denoiser is on.
Octane say this is caused by the PSU though mine is 1200w and no other software has caused this kind of crash, ever.
Would love them to recommend how to use an additional psu for one of the graphics cards.
Seems to happen with 2080ti cards...
Last deathcrash also borked my adobe cs3 install and now won't reinstall. All fun.

Hi Paride
Not sure but this could be what was causing my death crashes in the past.
It's a tree I bought and downloaded from Evermotion. Downloaded it again this morning to be sure.
Every time it renders, even clay render, the PC just switches off.
Several users have been told before that instant shutdowns are due to inadequate PSU.
I can render animations with plenty of geometry (just not this tree) so I doubt it's my PSU.
Can you please see if you can play with this tree model without your PC shutting down.
Don't have anything important open when you try, just to be safe.
I can open the FBX version in FBX viewer no problem.
Crashes occurred with vray version and fbx version.
Tried converting it to editable poly from editable mesh but still crashed.
Thanks

Hi Rik,
no issue no shutdown.
Did you active denoiser?
