hi,
i am using the node interface but it seems not to be updating on in certain moments.
also the linear material editor and the node based one are not always in sync.
example: i will remove a material on the left side editor, but it will remain connected in the nodal one.

The syncing is only one way. If you change something in the node system from the OctaneGUI side, you will need to close the unreal editor and reopen it.also the linear material editor and the node based one are not always in sync.
If you got a desync while using unreal editor only, please let me know how you did this.
But yea, the unreal octane material editor needs another pass.
The folowing items are on the list:
- Added more preview refreshes
- Async preview rendering
- Retain connections when copying
- Undo/Redo
