Hi there,

I'm just wondering when the documentation for Octane Standalone will be updated to match the latest release. Also, when will documentation for the various plugins be updated - the Modo plugin for example still has docs back at version 3.08.1. It would be nice to not have to ferret around through the forums to get basic information on the latest features.

Thanks
Dan

I second this. It would be great if Otoy would hire someone besides the developers to put energy into documenting this tool. It seems from the outside that the devs are the ones writing the manuals and I can only imagine that they’re already stretched thin building all the new functionality.

I tend to agree, I think having manuals updated and ready to go at least a couple of weeks after the official releases would be really welcome. Hopefully it would also avoid people asking questions in the forum hence getting the necessary info sooner.

Sorry for the lag, but we are on it. Documentation needs to wait until the releases are out and the devs have time to work with our writers to confirm all new changes.
