Twice as fast is a bit disappointing for the 24 core model. I was hoping for a lot more from a machine that came out almost 10 years after the 5.1.

Sorry, actually in C4D renders it was between three and six times faster.

I bought the mac pro 16 core and the perfomance its really nice. I havent updated my computer in 7 years and It was worth it the wait.

Now I cannot wait anymore for this octane x released!!! Sooooooo excited.

I hadn't updated for over ten years, and while the new Mac Pro is great with things like C4D's Physical render, it's GPU rendering I want to get back into. It'll be amazing to throw three or four GPUs at OctaneX. I'm so looking forward to trying it out! First I had to wait three years for the Mac Pro, now it's another year for Octane!
