Hi all, I'm thinking of buying a 2060 to work togheter with my current 1070.
Has anyone had any problems with mixing rtx and gtx? Particularly in octane 2020.

Hi Chris,
I use a GTX 980 and a RTX 2070 with no problems. Although I don't usually use both at the same time, the 980 is used just for my monitors (2 1080p and 1 display tablet). The 2070 is used for rendering only, so I have full access to it's vram and speed. I do every now and then render with both if the scene is small enough to fit in the 980. Your 1070 will add more to the render speed than my 980 so you should be good to go.
