Hello,

I'm trying to render a 360 panorama in C4D using Octane latest 2020.1 R2 with resolution of 5760x2880. Everything works fine in the Octane Render window, but when I render to C4D RenderView, then it crashes even before starting to display the render. I thought it was an issue with Motion Blur, but even when turning it off, it still crashes. It's a simple scene that uses X-Particles with some simple geometry.

Attached is the bugreport.

Hi,

Sorry for not posting a proper bug report. For some strange reason, it is now working!!! The only thing I did different is when I opened C4D to recreate the issue and send you the Octane log window, I didn't use Octane Dialog to render first, rather I just rendered to C4D Render View, and it worked, it rendered with no issues. I even tried rendering several times also using Render View, and it just worked. Once I tried rendering using Octane Dialog and render through it then after that I tried to render using C4D Render View, C4D crashes again.

A. Windows 10 PRO
B. Dual GeForce RTX 2080 Ti
C. RAM => 128GB
D. Nvidia driver version: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 442.92
E. OctaneRender Standalone version OctaneRender Enterprise 2020.1
F. OctaneRender plugin version Cinema4D version 2020.1-R2 (Stable release) 29.04.2020
G. Host application version - Cinema 4D R21.207 build RB303831

I attached the bug report already.

Thanks...

Hard to help you without seeing scene with this information. Be sure you're using Studio version of drivers. And use "Empty texCache" command. Be sure you're not on LOW VRAM.
