Octane Blender out of whack!

Hello folks,

I was trying Octane for Blender today and everything worked fine first. Now Octane behaves really strange. I don't know how to explain it but below there is a screenshot.
When I render the scene that used to work, the preview window stays grey. If I reset my user prefs to factory, behavior changes but still very strange. A simple cube with an Octane sky looks like this :

I am using an Alienware R17 with 32GB Ram and a GTX 1080.
Windows 10.
Blender re-installed, Octane re-installed. No avail!

Please help.
