the octane api can't be starterd

Hi,
as i launch houdini, even so octane render start without problem, i get that message
ERROR:
The Octane API can't be starterd: Tried to start DLL more than once.
would anyone know what could be happening ?

Hmm, weird issue! That means that Houdini is trying to load the plugin twice or something like that. Where do you have the plugin installed, and what's your houdini.env file? I wonder if you could have two or more plugin builds inside the Houdini $HOME folder.
