The offline licensing is already available using a dongle, I think. The perpetual license will be available at some point in the near future, as far as I know.

I was writing about an offline licensing mode without dongle.
Last time avaiable in 3.08 release I think.

can you tell me please, which is the latest Houdini 17.5-Build compatible with the 4.0 plugin?

I tried the latest one and it does not seem to work.
Can you confirm this and or possibly make it compatible?

Hi,

The latest Houdini version supported by the Octane 4.05 plugin is 17.5.327. I'm afraid that Octane 4.05 is no longer supported, so probably this is going to be the last build available. To work with the latest Houdini 17.5 and 18.0 versions you need to upgrade your Octane license and use the Octane 2019.1 or 2020.1 plugins.
