Volumetric pass issue

Hello,
i need to render Volume as a separate pass to comp it in AE.
Is there a way to render at once a full beauty pass (no separate diffuse reflections etc) without volumetric , and then Volumetric as separate pass ?
It seems that, in order to get volumetric as a separate pass, i am forced to render all passes separately (diffuse, reflection, etc).

I don't this that this could be possible without using render layers.
