I just updated my computer and wanted to let everyone know how positive the licensing of the new machine went. I usually make a backup of my old computer when I upgrade, so I tried running Octane after I loaded it back on to my new system from the backup. Octane asked me to release the license, which I did on the Octane web site. I waited a bit (30 or 45 minutes I think) and re-started Octane. It came up ready to go, absolutely no problems, I didn't even have to re-enter the activation codes, etc. :D All in all, a very smooth transition. Thanks Octane crew! Now I need to re-install my matchmoving software and see how that goes. :)

Hopefully those people who are still trying get their license sorted for the first time can have a similar experience soon.
