Hi,
I had been using the Octane Plugin for several hours when it stopped responding. I had been doing a lot of connecting and unconnecting of nodes and loading in new images when it happened. Not sure how to replicate as this is the first time it has happened to me. If it helps, I have to stop the render (set the view to solid) and then restart the render (set the view to rendered) a lot while I'm doing this. As I make changes to the node view, the server appears to forget what I have done, and I have to restart it (reload the nodes) to get it to render again. Maybe my card runs out of memory, as images are not being unallocated? I will check this if it happens again as I didn't think of doing it when it happened. I ended up shutting down Blender and the server to get it working again. When I tried to use Ctrl-C to stop the server it didn't respond and I had to kill it.
This is very much seems to be the same problem I have been having with the nodes not being updated when I would make changes to values in them. Thanks,
Jason

Does it happen with RTX on or off?grimm wrote:Hi,

This is with RTX on. I will test with it off and see if there is a difference.

I have had similar issues after while when changing nodes and/or render settings. The octane IPR stops responding and usually have to change back in forth the viewport mode or restart the octane server to get the octane IPR to start working again.
I used 2x2070 graphics card with RTX on.
