I've added a 3rd GTX 1080 ti to my rig and I can't get Octane to use it. Octane apparently sees the GPU, but I can't enable it.
In Device settings/OctaneRender devices preferences, I can't check the Render box or the Denoise box on the 3rd GPU: instead of making a white checkmark like on the other GPUS, it briefly makes a red-outlined "X", which then disappears.
I really want to get this GPU working with Octane? What sort of reasons are there for this to happen?
Octane Not Accepting 3rd GPU
Hi,
the number of available GPUs depends on the type of Octane Render version installed.
Enterprise licenses have a limit of max 200x GPUs, while Studio licenses are limited to max 2x GPUs.
You need an Enterprise version/license to overcome the 2x GPUs limit.

what kind of enterprise license do I need??
Is it the Enterprise Box license?
Because I have the Enterprise (Monthly) license, and my 3rd GPU is still getting rejected... even though in the "Rent" tab, the only one that mentions a 2GPU limit is the monthly Studio license.
Very confused

Hi,
if you own an Enterprise subscription, you have no limits, but you need to be sure to have not installed a version with the word “Studio” in its name, or you can work only with 2x GPUs.
Which exact version have you installed?
ciao Beppe
