Brecht's forum account has disappeared

So, what's up with this?

It's hard not to notice that Nostromo and Brecht were not active on the forums for the last 3 weeks, while prior to that they were usually very helpful with all the questions users had. Their last post for both of 'em was made on 05.oct.

Are they confined to the "lab" and not allowed to "waste" their time on the forum anymore? Is there a database problem / mixup, connected to the recent events? Or are they not working for Refractive anymore?

yeah, this is concerning. Octane is great but seems to be falling behind in development.

Yep... 5+ days and no "official" answer: sometimes silence speaks louder than words, I fear?

may just be that they've decided to keep the forum postings to a couple of people (I've seen companies do this all the time ).

It helps with productivity and keeping a unified voice.

could be wrong though, might be an account error or maybe they canned his butt? (hope not)

Anyway - time will tell.

I just noticed that Brecht was mentioned in the Blender Developers Meeting Notes from 11/07/10 (see here http://www.blendernation.com/2010/11/08 ... rNation%29).

Is it possible that he isn't working for Octane anymore (and went back to Blender) for some reason?
