Hi!

Apologies if this has been discussed. If you know of an answer please send a link and I will look at that.

I am having an issue with mapping a logo on a cylindrical object (Water Bottle) and it appearing on the back side of the object mirrored I would only like it to be on the front of the object as there is a pattern texture that is wrapping all the way around and nothing should appear on the back except the pattern.

Attached a couple screenshots to help explain what is going on. Had to replace the actual pattern in my render with a basic noise so nobody sees too much ;)

Thanks!

That is what I ended up doing it just felt like a little bit of a questionable way of doing it. Because the size of the logo it makes it fade at the blend angle I couldn't find a setting that did exactly what i needed in there but I will keep finessing it.

Orrr... Just unwrap it. Which is probably the best way to solve the texture issue but I was just kinda set on keeping things editable.

Thanks for the reply!

Actually now that I had a chance to back away from it and approach it with a fresh thought pattern I realized all my problems were solved by applying my texture to the Lathe.

I have it set up to create the label with a Spline>lathe>Cloth surface.

Had the texture applied to the cloth surface and it was getting all confused.
