Hi all,
I'm rendering a 1920*1080 project but with 1.33 pixel size in order to get a wide screen image without having to render the pixels required for that. In the live viewer, I got the proper image but when I render my EXR, it looks stretched out with the correct aspect ration. I got the right proportions when I unsqueeze my image to to a proper 1920*1080 with square pixels. Has anyone experienced something like that in the past? I did other projects with the regular C4D render engine like this in the past and it always worked.
Also, I have a motion vector pass and a z depth pass and they look good in the Live View, but in my renders the MV is black and my Z depth is mostly white (I have some gray values, but not as much as the preview in the live view). Does it have to do with tonemap, linear or something like that? I admit, I'm still a little confused over those. I'm planning on doing post work on the animation in After Effects. And I'm rendering with Pathtracing.
Render with non square pixels
