viewtopic.php?f=7&t=72241
NEW FEATURES SINCE LAST RELEASE
    Upgraded to 2019.1.5
    Enhanced the OpenVDB feature
Added missing options (velocity scale, velocity grid type, motion blur. . .)
Supported to customize absorption/scatter/emission/velocity grid id as SA
Fixed VDB volume renders as black box(SDF type) issue
Supported Octane Output ("Property - Output - Octane Output") as it is in SA
Supported to customize "Octane Export Mode", "Export File Format", and "EXR Compression Type"
The export results are put under the "Output Path"
Supported Mesh Type Optimization("Property - Object Property - Octane - Mesh Type") for final animation render
Avoid duplicate transform updates for objects that are not Movable
Avoid duplicate mesh data updates for objects that are not Reshapable
Added a new experimental "Auto" mesh type to detect and apply the optimization automatically
e.g. it can detect and apply "Reshapable" rules for the objects that are used as smokes
It's an experimental feature to help users get rid of the manual mesh type assignment. Please let us know if there are any cases that are not covered and handled incorrectly. We will keep on its improvements.
Optimized mesh updates in viewport preview
Removed redundant uploads for meshes(except meshes that are reshapable, modified, or in edit mode)
    Supported Global mesh type
Supported object layer settings for Orbx proxy
Supported to use texture value for gradient texture
Supported to customize the OctaneDB texture cache folder("Preferences-OctaneRender-Octane Texture Cache Folder")
FIXES SINCE LAST RELEASE
Fixed some issues in Orbx Proxy
    Fixed the volume render issue
Fixed render issue of the group nodes with multiple outputs
    Fixed crash of texture reference
Some other fixes merged from the latest 21.3

Hi, I'm working with the latest stable, there is a lot of server crash when I try to copy/paste or hide/unhide object when the viewport is in rendered mode. Here is the link to the file where the crash happens (the crash happens not only in this file, just for investigation):
https://www.dropbox.com/s/phn71astrhs4l ... ash2.blend
Step to reproduce the crash: open the file, go to rendered view mode, select one object, and then isolate it with Numpad slash.
My spec is:
- Ryzen 5 2600
- 32GB RAM
- RTX 2070 SUPER
- GTX 1060 6GB (display)
- Windows 10 build 1909
- NVIDIA Driver 441.66
- OctaneRender for Blender 2019.1.5 - 20.7

Hi. I have a lot of problems working with linked libraries.
I linked rigged character, as a linked collection.
After that I duplicated the character couple times and started setting up the scene.
But when I am trying to delete any object - blender crashes.
Sometimes it crashes when I hide/unhide objects.
But, If I delete the object right after relaunch, it works fine, allowing me to delete any number of objects.
But, If I go to the pose mode, setting up my rig, I will definitely have a crash when I will try to delete any object.
I am using the latest Free tier available.
Thank you.

Hello!
I am facing a weird issue. It is the first time I am posting here because after hours of research, I haven't found an answer to my issue.
I am currently running the version 20.7 of OctaneRender and Blender Octane Edition 2019.1.5 (the Free Tier). I have two GTX 970's and I'd like to use both. CUDA is installed, and Octane renders perfectly well on the 1st GPU, but not the second. When I try to check it, I have this red cross appearing on my screen:
I have disabled SLI (the bridge isn't installed anyway) and have the latest Nvidia drivers installed. I have enabled "Compute Mode" in the Nvidia settings panel and enabled them on maximum performance.
How to replicate: Simply try to enable the second GPU from the OctaneRender panel.
If you need any more hardware specifications, i'm using an Intel Core i5-6600 and 16 gigabytes of RAM. I just installed a fresh copy of Windows 10, so pretty much nothing else except Blender, OctaneRender and Chrome is installed.
Thank you for your help and have a nice day!

From what I can tell this is intended as the free tier plugins only support 1 GPU for rendering.blakesmoth wrote:Hello!

Hi,
I'm testing out a "new" Linux Distro and I spent several hours last night trying to get this to work...
The server starts, I can add the plug-in to blender.. the License gets activated... and that was all, nothing more happens.
The console windows only keeps on saying that its starting the plugin or something like that.
So, where do i start to track this down?
Thank you!

Hi,
have you tried with OctaneBench 4.00c, to see if everything is working with CUDA driver under Linux?
https://render.otoy.com/downloads/a/787 ... _linux.zip
ciao Beppe
