Hi,
check the Cornea and EyeSocket materials, you need a Specular material with enabled Fake Shadow option in the Common tab, and also switch to Path Tracing kernel.

As you can see, the preview of the materials is not correct.
Please, create new Specular materials with Fake Shadow option active, and replace the transparent/invisible materials.
Have you switched the Kernel from Direct Light to Path Tracing?

I also just tried creating a new octane material and did al those but for some reason that black doesn't go away.. looks like I am doing something wrong but still couldn't figure it out..

Hi, in the render kernel setting try decreasing the ray epsilon setting to the lowest possible value. This should fix it.
