So the SSS Node with backscattering foer LightWave/Octane is very flexible...

trust me...

you can build every type of skin with that....from unreal to real...what ever you want....
you just have to develop it.

This is Joshua. Joshua has just come from a hair transplant. He is not happy. His first sentence after the operation after looking in the mirror was > "This is not real hair!"
He is disappointed now, and wants to sue the operator! LOL :)

very impressive work, if i may , maybe the skin is a little too shiny, it creates a kind of mask, wet film on the surface. regarding the hair, yes I understand his disappointment, the style is not very modern and can also be a little too shiny too, the glasses are too big for his face.
the material of the leather jacket looks very good.
did you know the work of Jacques Defontaine, perhaps he could be a nice reference inspiration.

the important thing is not that the work is professional or not, even if yours is for fun as you say, it remains professional level, the important thing is to respect people who have a respectful look on this that share here. I respect any type of production, even infantile. there is always something positive even in bad production. You are very good, you may like black humor ... very well, on the other hand goes to the end of the sharing logic by showing more, with for example explanations of setup etc, it is the very principle of a forum: sharing
i'm not talking about all that to post on YouTube, etc …
I am talking about this post because it is an interesting work which can be useful also for other user with tips or other_ thank's again
