Hi. I'm curious but don't understand the newer Forest Pack Support settings and what all of these items do/correspond to.
I've tried looking online for documentation and in the forums, but there's too much information to sort through.
I have the latest FP installed and running 2nd to latest Octane beta.
For example, what are the different support levels (standard, direct, legacy, discard)?
What does the FP User ID settings do?
Use Layer from FP object???
Thanks!

Octane's documentation is very outdated. There are not many turorials and when you go to try to understand the engine, there is lack of information in the documentation ...
You can try taking a look at the Standalone Documentation and Realease Infos.

it's bugged out so bad. in some frames itoo objects appear, in some frames they don't. Some itoo objects need referenced mesh to be set as renderable for itoo to work some dont (can be added to forest_template layer). Motion blur doesn't work anymore, sometimes itoo mesh can be animated sometimes not. It's just a mess and for the 4th release no proper fix.lunarstudio wrote:Hi.
