Now that a version of the standalone renderer Octane X is soon due for preview, how long will it take to build the macOS plugin for C4D using this new tech? After a year away I'm excited about getting Octane running on Mac again!

Uh, okay – we're two OSes in front of that now. Jules Urbach has said it needs 10.15.x – plus the latest version of Metal.

It should “just work” on 10.15 and later in place of the 2020 CUDA version, which is limited to 10.13.

Okay, so hopefully a working plugin for C4D R21 on macOS 10.15 isn't too far way then?
