Hey!
I have updated to the lastest build of Octane for Cinema 4D and ran into a problem.
Octane keeps rendering even after the max. samples are reached.
It doesn't really matter when I'm only rendering a beauty image since I can just stop the rendering myself.
However. When I want to render multiple passes Octane won't even start rendering them because it keeps rendering the beauty until I cancel it.
Octane renders infinitely

Which version and with C4D? And are you talking that's for every scene or spesific one? Asking because I didn't see this

Thank you for the response! It happens with every scene. Cinema 4d Version is R20. (R20.059 precisely)aoktar wrote:Which version and with C4D? And are you talking that's for every scene or spesific one? Asking because I didn't see this
Octane Version is 4.02.1
I'll prepare an example.
Interesting. I just tried to render a different scene and it worked there.ThomasR wrote:Thank you for the response! It happens with every scene. Cinema 4d Version is R20. I do have the problem with multiple other scenes though. The only difference in the render settings I noticed was the geometry control being set to "All Obejects movable" instead of "auto detect".
I don't think that would be causing the issue but I changed it and now I'll try to render again.
First try on latest builds. It's not makings sense if you're on obsolete version.
