So I have version 4 and before I could buy 2018,2019 for 199.00 for one year and as I understood it was an enterprise version with a slave render included for one year.
So now it looks like it will cost me 499.00 for one year is that correct?
If so that is a massive price increase.
Where did the 199.00 upgrade go for one year?
ok I'm really confused about upgrades additions etc

May I ask, which subscription is the same service as last year? Studio Subscriptions or Enterprise Maintenance Extension? Will my subscription add usage time on this basis or will the remaining available time of V4 be cleared?
Thanks for the info.
But as usual with Otoy it seems to be a confusing mess.
I have 3 1080ti's in my main system and a rtx 2070 super in another system
The only thing I can see is I have version 4 and I used to be able to upgrade to subscription for 199.00 U.S. dollars and keep version 4 and have one node for network rendering.
So that option I think is now taken away and replaced with either enterprise subscription which is 270.00 euro ( black Friday deal ) ( don't see any deal here) or enterprise maintenance extension 199 plus 300 (499.00 euro for upgrade to a new perceptual version of 2020 with one year of maintenance.)
so I think I'm going to pass and just keep using version 4 as the price seems to have gone up to much for me.
If I have gotten the info wrong please correct me.

you just forgot to specify that now for more expensive, you have less. (no net slaves at all) c'est vraiment géniallightboy wrote:....

What about the Enterprise Box License does that include an additional network/command line license?
thankyou

If you own V4 and want the cheapest option and best value to use 2020, the go for the 199/year plan on shop/buy/maintenance page.lightboy wrote:Thanks for the info.

Can you confirm that if we own v4 perpetual and choose the v2020.x Enterprise Maintenance upgrade, then after the end of that maintenance period we own v2020.x Stand Alone as a perpetual program and can continue to use if even if we do not re-enroll in another maintenance extension?Goldorak wrote:If you own V4 and want the cheapest option and best value to use 2020, the go for the 199/year plan on shop/buy/maintenance page.
Also what is the situation with those who own a v4 perpetual plugin license? I have both Octane Stand Alone and Octane Blender v4 perpetual licenses. What is the upgrade path to perpetual v2020.x for the Belnder plugin?

1) If you choose “Upgrade legacy perpetual licence (V4 or earlier)” on that page, then yes, you will end up with a 2020.x final perpetual license for standalone and ALL previously purchased plug-Ins as well (no duplicates, we assume one unique DCC plug-in per standalone). When main ten episodes ends, you get to keep all 2020.x final plug-ins, but will not get further updates, lose all access to other plug-ins/cloud rendering, and discounts on later perpetual releases once you end your maintenance.pegot wrote:Can you confirm that if we own v4 perpetual and choose the v2020.x Enterprise Maintenance upgrade, then after the end of that maintenance period we own v2020.x Stand Alone as a perpetual program and can continue to use if even if we do not re-enroll in another maintenance extension?Goldorak wrote:If you own V4 and want the cheapest option and best value to use 2020, the go for the 199/year plan on shop/buy/maintenance page.

2) If you choose default 199 / year maintenance only on top of V4 (i.e. you do NOT click on the perpetual 2020.x perpetual license upgrade), then you are on the cheapest plan to get Octane 2020 and later continuously, but you do not keep a perpetual license beyond V4.
Well this is exactly what I emailed support about. When I click on “Upgrade legacy perpetual license (V4 or earlier)” it sends me to a page that states:Goldorak wrote: 1) If you choose “Upgrade legacy perpetual licence (V4 or earlier)” on that page, then yes, you will end up with a 2020.x final perpetual license for standalone and ALL previously purchased plug-Ins as well (no duplicates, we assume one unique DCC plug-in per standalone). "You currently have no products attached to your account that can be upgraded." And so I can not proceed. Yet my account shows I have v4 standalone and Blender plugins. So a bit confused?
Regarding option 2 - the 199 Maintenance update. How is that different than a regular All Access Subscription? Does it give you access to whatever versions are released in that maintenance period, or are you ONLY limited to the v2020.x releases?
Thanks for helping to clarify Goldorak!
