It would be good if you add also a link to the Unity installation manual on the Prime download page.
For the DAZ download title you are missing a new line. Currently it is right behind the UE download links.

Okay, I also want to give a little feedback since it was kind of a up-and-down year with octane IMO.
So first of all: I'm super excited about the new features and all the development that is happening and happened the last month. There are a lot of features I was waiting for so a big thanks for that! On the other hand I can totally understand all the complaints coming in even tho I'm a little sorry to read so many.
Its super nice that you added the perpetual option again and listened to customers... I upgraded my license instantly last year at black friday since I was an early adopter with the RTX Cards (which is always a risk of course). I definitely wanted the full support for the new card and it was promised... Well, now a year later I have to pay AGAIN to get the full RTX support which was announced for 2019.2!
Yes, there was support for RTX Cards but all the main-features like NVLink and the RTX Speed-Up where not there... the whole year. NVLink works for like a month with three months before without a single word why its not working even it was written on the release page , this is just a awful way to treat customers TBH. And as I understand it now: I can pay 199€ to get the current Version as perpetual but the final 2020 will not be in this, for this I need to pay 349€ [all current sale prices]?
Based on my experience this year I should wait until there is the final, working release for the c4d plugins and get the way cheaper studio rent (with only 2 GPUs) even if I have a full license since Octane 2.0 which is basically useless...
IDK mixed feelings about everything.
BTW: Paypal would be really appreciated.

I think the amount of 500 to pay immediately for one upgrade is big, there should be an upgrade function to 2018 then to 2019, it is much easier to pay 100-150 euros than 500 at once

Will I be able to use the new Octane features with this ?
Aslo, any ETA for the C4D Plugin ? This release is really cool

Last years upgrade should've been like that. Now they are pretty much holding out files hostage. They should've just used Redshifts licencing system.nildoe wrote:this is my concern as well... i own 4 v4 licenses and basically im stuck with them unless i either 500EUR for each to have an upgrade to perpetual 2020 or 200EUR to have just one year..so if I want to use the new files after one year..im gonna be screwed unless I pay more... or I pay the 500EUR for perpetual...to which im also screwed if in the future octane changes to the point that previous working files will not be compatible as well as they state right in the first post...galleon27 wrote:So basically this is the timeline:
2015 - I purchased 2.x OCTANE/C4D combo licence.
2016 - purchased the upgrade from 2.x to 3.x
2018 august - purchased houdini plugin licence
2018 november - got the free upgrade to 4.x
2018 december - purchased OctaneRender All-Access Pass(1 year)
2019 december is when my maintenance plan ends and i since 2018.x/2019.x is not backwards compatible with Octane 4, i cant use my files unless i get another maintenance plan for 199/349€.
And next year its gonna be the same shit unless i get maintenance extension since i don't have a Enterprise Box License.
Im at an impasse dont know what to do.
This is only for people who haven’t upgraded in years though. If you bought AA for 1 year we give you a discount for the upgrade and if you got 2 years of AA then your upgrade to 2020.x perpetual is completely free. Also free for anyone who bought V4 with AA in the last six months.divasoft wrote:+1Elvissuperstar007 wrote:I think the amount of 500 to pay immediately for one upgrade is big, there should be an upgrade function to 2018 then to 2019, it is much easier to pay 100-150 euros than 500 at once
Otherwise you can get the identical full version now for low monthly price with the new rentals we added.
No, RTX now is really useless thing. I tested it in many scenes and yes i checked on RTX in device settings.mojave wrote:Looks like RTX is not enabled, please make sure you have a driver installed of at least the versions mentioned at the beginning of the release post.roinigo wrote:...The RTX Performance Test doesn't work here (with RTX 2080 Ti) :
