What do you see if you select the Denoiser pass?Despot wrote:No I'm using Path Tracing mainly, occassionally Direct Lighting.linograndiotoy wrote:Just be sure you're not using the PMC Kernel.Despot wrote:Denoising doesn't work at all, just kills any post-processing effetcs.
Here is a screenshot of what I see on every single scene I have, even ones created from scratch.
Thought it was a driver issue, so now I'm on 441.28 Studio Driver. but the issue is still present.
All the scenes I'm trying denoise fine on 2019.2 XB2...

I have a V4 perpetual license, but When I click on the upgrade buttom, It says: You currently have no products attached to your account that can be upgraded.
On 2019 I am using Enterprise subscription license.
What Can I do to upgrade my license from V4?

In the same boat as many of you; V4 licenses, upgrade path and cost options are confusing. In no way thrilled about the upgrade paths and lack of clarity. I've been looking for a reason to migrate to Redshift full time as I already have licenses for my workstations, in light (yet again) of this coherent-less pricing structure/upgrade path, I suppose now is as good time as any.
You've cracked it - checked the device manager and 'denoise' was unchecked for some reason.mojave wrote:Can you share your setup (including screenshot of your devices manger window) via PM and any scene that can be used to reproduced the issue?Despot wrote:Denoising doesn't work at all, just kills any post-processing effetcs.
Thank you.
Everything is fine now, thanks

Awesome features...Can't wait to see them implemented in the plugins in 2 years time.
Windows 11 Pro | ASUS Pro WSX80E | AMD Threadripper Pro 5975WX 32-Core | 256GB Micron 8x32GB 3200MHz ECC | 2x PNY RTX6000 ADA
What I'm looking forward is to test the <<Built-In Cinema 4D Noise Shaders>> and the <<Spectron area light>> , If this is capable of cleaning interior GI in less time... this feature alone, along with RTX, would be reaaally welcome for my work.
EDIT: I must say, however: I expecting some other stuff too:
Light mixer in viewport and geopatter or vraypattern like feature, I think we would save lots of resources and stability with it. Just my 2 cents...
