Specular Amount Question

When using a basic glossy material I often control my highlights by changing the specular amount. When I plug an RGB Spectrum in to set the specular colour, I lose the amount slider. How can I plug in a specular colour AND adjust the specular amount?

if you switch the color from RGB to HSV, you can use the Value as Power.
