What is going on 400+ nodes?

I bought this off of grubhub

in the c4d file its just 21 objects with cloner nodes. I like to work with as few objects as i can what is going on?

Disclaimer i am only 2 days into Octane.

Octane will generate a node for each instance, so what you're seeing is perfectly normal.
